The Green Energy Act came into effect a very short time ago here in Ontario, Canada. Green has not only become super trendy, it really is becoming and morphing into a way of life for many. It has become more apparent and more important for all of us across the world to incorporate green living into our lives as we need to repair and save our Earth. The future, at times, looks bleak. We need to pull it altogether and show we care. Green is definitely a mutual connection for all of us.

It has been difficult to watch the demise of industry & its jobs here in Ontario as many people have steadily relied on such work for a very long time. The same holds true across the world. Green collar work gives many a new opportunity and while providing income, also educates the green collar worker about all the right things needed to be done in order to be green.

In Toronto, a small but powerful company called Village Technologies is currently making strides in the green world. With a recent trip to Pennsylvannia to visit City & State Officials to discuss greening up 900 abandoned homes and solar hot water heating systems for their pools, Village Technologies knows its stuff when it comes to saving on energy bills, and greening up your buildings. VT is also currently working on a number of co-op housing sites and other community related green projects. Torture Garden at the Opera House

ARKAngel will be hosting the "Chemical Paint Lab" at the Opera House on August 29th, 2009 as part of the Torture Garden Event being held there.

We are taking bookings for the day & evening of the event for Special FX Makeup, Alternative Makeup, Face & BodyPainting, Temporary Tattoos & BodyCasting. This is exclusive to Torture Garden Toronto ticket holders.
